- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 0,4oz vanilla or vanilla sugar
- 0,6 oz butter (for oiling the baking dish)
The fall is the season for harvesting apples and making this quick and simple apple pie.
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Peel, core and dice the apples.
Place into a bowl.
Break the eggs into a separate bowl.
Add the sugar and a little bit of vanilla.
Beat the eggs and sugar with a mixer for 5-7 minutes
While beating, gradually add the flour.
The batter should be liquid.
Oil the baking dish with the butter and pour in 1/3 of the batter.
Place the apples onto the batter and spead evenly.
Pour the rest of the batter over the apples.
Place the pie into the oven and back for 50 minutes.
Do not open the oven for the first 25-30 minutes or the batter won’t rise.
Keep in mind, everything is extremely simple: 350 degrees – 50 minutes.
When the pie is ready, take out of the oven and slice.
The top can be dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
